The beginning was catchy, and we all know we need a catchy intro. The synth that followed later was unique, and as was the melody. I like the overlapping of instruments that follows, but 00:48 - 01:00 I'm not a fan of. At 01:00 it's some crazy shit, which also happens to be unique. The rest of the song is amazing, but the ending was not. Basically, this song was weird for me to rate because unlike other songs, it had parts that were simply amazing, yet parts that made me what to change it to another song. 8/10. 4/5.
P.S. I think the direction you're heading into is great, as you are going farther and farther away from things that might be considered cliche by some.
