"Great Chiptune!"

As an avid Retro Gamer I love it when people really devote time and energy to 8bit tracks. There is something really awesome and catchy with Chiptunes and I respect anyone who can do it WELL. I have listened to several of your songs and you have some of the best on the site. A lot of people don't realize how much work is involved with making this type of music.

Your tones and drums were blended perfectly. Great job!

"Great!"

Wow dude! these are all pretty good!

Seriously, you've got something here. Please keep it up, I'd be more than willing to use your talents in the future. Do you happen to compose in other kind of stuff too? or are you only into 8-bit music? Whatever the case, i enjoy your music, so don't stop making it!

Author's Response:

I started making trance in 2006. I changed to this retro style in 2007 and explored many retro music trackers. I also make bitpop, which is also a retro style of music but not entirely focused on video game hardware, and I have made hip hop beats too. I've released an IDMish EP under another alias once as well. So I tend to explore many different genres, but I have the most fun with chiptune and bitpop. Thanks for the kind words! I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

"Lol!"

I enjoyed it! I love the old 8-bit sounds! You never hear any good ol' midi tracks anymore! XD Although, I got to tell you it's not the sound I expected from the title. I don't really get that sun rise and set feeling. Nor do I get that Fiddler On the Roof sound. XD (If you don't understand that comment just ignore it. ^_^) Great work bud!

Thanks, but MIDI =/= 8bit.
