"Amazing!!!"

date: October 30, 2009

A somber beginning with a powerful finish. I love it, i wish there were more songs like this.

The title fits very well. Keep it up, the world needs more music like this!!

A bit short though...try for something a little longer.

"Loving this"

Just wondering, what samples/synths do you use for your instruments and drums? I've always wanted to make classical music like this, but it always ends up sounding shitty because I use terrible samples.

"For Josh."

date: October 17, 2009

"K-Kayator-are you alright?" I shivered.

He looked pale, pale as death even compared to the virgin snow around us. Waving away Josh's proffered arm, our Senior Tutor drew himself up. He took in my shaking form and wordlessly peeled off his emerald cloak, draping it around my shoulders.

The fabric was sodden with vapor and frozen in bits from Kayator's flight, but I clutched at it anyways, "T-Thanks."

"Now." Kayator said in a soft voice, turning back to the darkness, "We will have a real adventure."

He raised his hand and there flared a soft white glow. The orb of light cast shadows on the trees, the snowdrifts, but nothing more sinister. Even when Kayator lowered his arm, the sphere stayed aloft. It flittered on its own merit to somewhere above our heads.

"Nice trick." Josh lifted his eyes.

We were far deeper into the forest than even Josh would have dared to go. 'Over the Ridge' was a term from a brighter, happier time. This floating ball of light was the only thing keeping us from the darkness. I stared at it greedily, desperately. If it went out, I would too.

Kayator did not shake with the cold. He stood as tall and as proud as his wounds would let him. His ears twitched. He appeared to be listening.

"They are coming."

"What do they want?" I asked.

His eyes glittered, "Retribution."

Like for a film score. Just amazing, reminds a bit of Hotel Rwanda.
