A song I had formed for the animator of The Lost Gift (viewable at http://www.newgrounds.com /portal/view/434403), to let him decide if he wanted my help compose for the movie.

It seems to be well received, and I will be making more music for the project, hopefully I will be able to give them everything they want!

The song itself has a Japanese oriented vibe to it, played out strangely enough by native Turkish instruments, mixed with other Middle Eastern ones. The song is also by far one of my most nit picked one, paying attention to each note's volume, velocity, keyswitches, and anything else I could to make it sound more "real". I like to think the effort was worth it.

"Good mix!"

Great mixing, you tend to use some pretty nice sounds! And I like the ethnic colors you use too, they make your music sound very down to earth, if that makes any sense. Makes for a great clip, but again I feel like you cut it short and it could have developed into something so much more!

now this is something nice and relaxing. It can take you away as you listen to it and if you think about it thats what music really is about. To sweep you away from real life and make you forget about what troubles you may have. this is a wonderful example of that type of music. Everything works great together.

"Nice."

I said I'd drop some more reviews on your stuff, so here I am.

You can even make a style I don't particularly enjoy ear pleasing. I love Classical in general, but this sounded a little different than the norm and I still enjoyed it quite a bit.

Classical definitely seems to be one of your strong points, I would absolutely love if you could contact me sometime so we can discuss how you get your sounds. I've been dying to get a good orchestral sound for a long time.

"Epic!"

date: May 7, 2008

Your songs always seem to tell an epic tale or at least each is a chapter to an epic story! I would love to see all your songs put to visuals, either in a movie or a game, even short stories to each song would be amazing to see I would imagine. Anyways, your songs also remind me of the music from Chrono Cross, the FF series and a variety of others games. I can't stop myself from listening to all your songs and creating little stories in my head. Can't wait to see what else I can think of, in others words can't wait to see what it is you will produce next.
