another stage theme from the sonic idea. very speedy (but also legible). made in about two hours.

sometimes the guitar sounds a little harsh, and other times, it doesn't, so i don't know whether to turn it down or not. meh.

fun as hell to make.

are u actually making the game?

If not then i can edit SADX for you. PM me if u want to make one.
Oh yeah almost forgot to review. You have a great melody, the synths were good, but needed more mastering. Also the volume of all the leading synths were kinda low. try to work on that.

Sonic the Hedgehog & Megaman X?

Dude, if they ever make a sonic game with Megaman X music, this exactly one of those songs I would be thinking of! Sweet jam dude

Good! Good!

Now all you have to do is make a calmer, but industial version of this to balance it out and you'll have Act 1. Like Sonic had just entered the factory and is making his way to Eggman. Once he gets there, Eggman sics his midboss on him and continues with what he's doing while sonic kicks his ass. After getting what he needs, Eggman sets the place on self-destruct mode. This song should be played as an Act 2 BGM as Sonic is trying to escape within 2 minutes.

when i get my other soundset stuff, i'm going to overhaul a few tracks and finish scoring adjacent zones and act tracks.

i like your idea, but i've already plotted the setup and get-go (plus i use a similar "get in - gotta get out!" tactic once or twice already).

awesome job here

gives it the feel like sonic is running through some kind of heating factory, or some sort of giant furnace

me and my crazy imagination

Same as what I said about the guitar earlier

This is what i meant when I said earlier kick aside the metal drums but keep the guitar work. This reminds me alot of Home Video, but heavier. If you've never heard of them, you should look into them; I bet you'd enjoy it. They're on myspace somewhere. But yeah, this is good stuff. My only complaint might be mastering wise. The bassy syth is actually what's too loud here, not the guitar. That, and the lead synth could stand to be a bit louder sometimes. Still, this is pretty respectable for 2 hours.

darkmelee responds:

heh, i think we have completely opposing sound setups. on mine, there's almost too much care to make sure i get the sefault sound, and my headphones (before they broke) were almost equal, but they had a slight love for the midrange. thusly, i balance everything on those.

and thank you. this makes you a repeat offender!
