6 hours to make. Something fun for car audio and headphones, son!

I did cut the engine sample from Need for Speed: Most Wanted so, I should give them credit for having excellent audio in that game.

I own a 92 LX with a 6lb Vortech A-trim, E cam, Trick Flow Street upper and lower, fluid damper, stock headers with h-pipe and classic Flowmasters, aluminum driveshaft, and 3.73's. I plan on running 30 lb injectors, 80mm mass air meter, 255lph pump, and a decent kit from Maximum Moter Sports for the suspension... in case you were wondering about that stuff... :D

That bass sounding thing made out of the engine sample is pretty sick. I see you use Sony Acid which is pretty good, I can't use anything but Fl Studio, I tried Reason and it confused the fuck outta me, I couldn't even figure out how to make a beat with a tutorial. Sorry about all the commas. I really can't give any advice other than to keep up the good work.

Author's Response:

Yeah, I tried to use Cubase that came with a Lexicon device and I couldn't do shit with it (more like it wouldn't let me import any of my samples for some reason). I know FL is super popular but, I keep finding new sounds in ACID so, I'll stick with it until I can afford some real equipment.

I apreciate all of your reviews and comments, man. I'll be swinging by soon.

i wrote you a few reviews for commenting on my flash,
its a way of saying thanks!
this song is nice, i like the use of style to make it sound different than the regular old song.
(try using reason or FLstudio[i can get you flstudio, if you want])
thisa will really give you the tools you need to make enjoyable sounds out of peoples speakers.

Author's Response:

Hey, I only comment on the work I come across that is commendable and what you made was excellent, including your music. I see that FLStudio is the most popular choice lately and I decided that when I can afford a new rig I'll take it on to see what I can make of it. ACID is like my trusty old BMX right now, I know how to ride it and I can still do a few tricks on it yet.

Thanks for sacrificing your sleep to go through my catalog, I hope it was an adventure!

"a little gimmicky"

date: January 1, 2009

the first half of this song is very uninteresting beyond the mustang reese bass sound. the dry use of cheesy fl default drum sounds do the track no favours either and make this sound more like dance music than industrial.

having said that, the concept is quite cool and there are several nice basslines in the second half of the song. for a 6 hour mess-about this is a good result.

Author's Response:

I appreciate your candor. I wanted originality with the sample and got what I wanted as it progressed. I had originally labeled this in this trance section on the suggestion of a friend. Others here suggested industrial... I'll just throw it in misc. Thanks for the review.
