made in three hours. waay later zone for the big-ass 2D Sonic idea.

i need more like these.

i'd love some feedback... seriously, gimme some info, peeps.

the more i hear this, the more i wonder what made me do this song like this. my original theme idea for the stage was the short tag with the organ and guitar, but then it went all VG on me. sweet.

this is probably my favorite of the stage themes, and the sketches i've made so far have also made it one of my favorite zone concept as well. nice when everything comes together...

EDIT: finally got around to fixing a copy/paste mistake, also a smidge quieter.

"Beautiful!"

it started off a lil on the lamez, but don't get me wrong right before I knew it i was bopping my head to this SMOOTH beat, it reminds me so much of VG music, but yet I can totally see myself groovin' to this, it is almost too good, I might have to pull a Once upon a time in mexico :P (SHOOT THE COOK), plus those nice little guitar riffs brought me back to my days of C&C, remember being the Brotherhood of Nod. this is something epic you got going, please continue, and keep up the fantastic work 10/10 5/5

"Songs Like This Are Your Best"

date: May 27, 2008

Kick the kind of metalish ideas aside, at least for drumbeats (your guitar compositions can be pretty awesome though). Things like this are what you do best, by far. I've been playing "Shimmering Swamp" rather often since I downloaded it and I was hoping I'd find more in that vein. These sorts of songs have a definite "video game" feel to them, but they still really work as danceable tunes too. The layering is really neat too. Keep up the awesome percussion in the backbeats!
