So, I'm doing some new stuff for uploading submissions (thanks NG for giving me this new jack to fill in). When I submit a new tune, I'm going to tell you everything that went into it. It's mostly so that I can gloat about my process, but it's also so that you, the listeners, can learn more about the origin of the sound.

So, without further ado, here's what went into this work:
Time: ~2 months (written several months ago, and put on the back burner)
Process: Written on Guitar Pro; strings, bass, and drum tracks went to FL Studio to be rendered roughly; brother mastered guitar parts, which were then recorded on Pro Tools using the rough renders; guitar tracks were sent to FL Studio for final EQ/mixing.

And also a new thing from me for you, I'm going to tell you what instruments and tools were used:
Drums: SGM 180 v1.5 Jazz kit (bass, snare, toms, crash, splash, china) and Room kit (bass drum), Musica Theoria v2 Orchestral kit (snare drum, toms, hi-hats), Music Man 68.5MB GM Standard kit (ride), and JD Rockkit (snare drum);
Bass: SGM 180 v1.5 Fingered and Slap I basses;
Strings: FFVII Strings (quick), SGM 180 v1.5 Bright Strings;
Guitar: Epiphone Les Paul Custom Silverburst thru Crate GLX212 w/Boss GT-3 effects processor;
Strings Synth: Epiphone Les Paul Custom Silverburst thru Crate GLX212 w/Boss GT-3 effects processor (phaser, delay, slow gear, reverb).
FL Studio 7 XXL Producer Edition
Pro Tools LE powered by MBox 2
Behringer Eurorack UBB1002 pro mixer

So yeah, the piece works great for epic scenes. For battles, it fits with doppëlganger fights (mirror fights -- those where the opponents are equals on an appearance level). However, you're free to use it since it's on NG and all; just give me some credit and I'm cool.

Oh, and I just realized this gives me more room to say:
Enjoy it; a review would be appreciated, and a look at some of my other stuff is welcome, too.

The distortion is awesome.

"Nice"

I think there needs to be a little more clarity overall. There is way too much distortion in every sound made. I like the alternating melodies though!

Author's Response:

Thanks for your review. I was yelling at my brother about that, but his response was "Shut up. The distortion is fine".

I'll try to fix it if I can.
