this started from practicing arpegios... basicly i made this for play along some exercises and not to get bored from practicing with metronome, later, this developed also an intro and outro
this is actually the version without guitar for people to use it for practicing guitar;)
the one with solo is http://www.newgrounds.com /audio/listen/136883
feel free to record your own solos and post it also on your pages, but give me credit for the backing track
and pls send me the link ;)
hope you'll find it usefull

You should check the "Guitar Challenge" topic to see how NG guitarists recorded wicked solos over it ;)

I loved the way you incorporated acoustic guitar in this song it works very well!
I think the chord progression could be a little better but overall this is really good.
PROS:
good mixing
all the parts work well
good use of the acoustic guitar
cons:
Chord progression could be a little more interesting.

Note-did you record the guitar in DI? or did you mic it up
And also i look forward to doing a solo over this=]
But that will be when i get a new audio interface cause mine is fubar.

thanx for the interesting review
this i don't really consider a composition, actually the story is like this, one day i was practicing a simple arpegio progression and by mistake i was playing another arpegio... i stopped and i made another exercise from that, after a whyle i was bored of having just metronome, so, i made this backing track for practice on it... after a whyle i made the intro and the outro and posted it, might be usefull also for others to use.
the acoustic guitar is actually made in Reason :( i don't have an acoustic guitar :(
i look forward for your solo also
