I tried to apply everything I've learned so far from making music to produce this piece. I was originally inspired by "Another World of Beasts" from FF6, but as the piece became more disturbing, I kept thinking more and more of the movie "Blue Velvet" (if you haven't seen it, then do so. It's highly disturbing but very well done). Headphones are recommended.

"I approve of this"

date: November 8, 2009

I made it a 9 for good measure, as I'm sure theres a flaw....just one that I can't find....

Dreams of death
Nightmares of glee
dreadful notions of the mind
will always plague me

woo! This song is great! I think that it has the mood I'd like it to have right until the heavy beat (that isn't bad; just I had intended to use it for ambience music for when I draw, and the heavy modern beat comes in it sorta ruins the mood I need)....reminds of a haunted house...perhaps one of those seemingly run-o-the-mill old creepy houses, with tales of death and murder surrounding its past, but along with that it secretly has some sort of bio-engineering facility attached to it through a secret passage or something...one with zombies, or something

"sad..."

date: November 7, 2009

Its one of those songs that ppl are afraid of kinda...it makes me sad listening to this song :( but at the same time i feel peace at mind and those feelings are increased during the night....ahhhh

Such a dramatic tune for my ears and a wonderful beat for heart... i would hate to be the one to ruin your current perfect 10/10 score for this masterpiece so i wont...
thank you for this.

"Great job!"

date: November 5, 2009

This piece of work is very peaceful to listen to, for someone that is as crazy as I am. Love the way that the vocals seemed to highlight the parts that they were in, and the drums were perfect when they were there. I just started looking around the music part for some songs that I would like, and your song was one of the first in the goth genre.

I had no clue what the goth genre was about, but I am glad that I came by here because this is a very beautiful piece. The piano and dark setting worked perfectly when put together. I will be watching you for more pieces of art.
