I'm not sure what genre to place this in. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Okay, this is a demo of a song I've been working on for a while. I haven't decided if it's going to have vocals or not, I'm posting this for feedback on the song as well as opinions as to whether it can stand on its own as an instrumental work.

Recording is a little sloppy because it's 9am and also because my home setup can only use 1 microphone, and all I've got are some mediocre dynamic mics. I'm also not terribly experienced at EQ'ing acoustic guitar, so I managed to bring out some of the brightness I lost to the mic, but not all of it I think.

I apologize for the sloppy playing, and any feedback is greatly appreciated.
