:.
Two figures huddled inside a bus stop enclosure.
Plumes of frozen exhaled air drifting towards the sky.
Seemed like it was snowing boulders.
Their hands held tight.
Their nerves stiff; muscles flexed hard.
With a muffled voice she spoke from behind her scarf.
"my hands are always so cold.."
so she says; as they all say.
"Don;t worry, that bus is almost here."
I spoke in a shivered voice.
Trying my best to not let her see i was cold, too.
"...Almost here."

(This is a new thing for me. I added my own vocals to this track - They're pretty effected though. Along with some mild guitar playing.)
Hope you like.

omg...
all your songs are so good, and i love all the lyrics you post with your comments, they make my hair tingle as i read them ^^ they're so good. keep up all this good work.
Hey jacob,
Thanks for the awesome words. I'm really glad you enjoy the whole 'package' haha. I thinkYour the first to actually mention the descriptions. Its my idea. Whenever i finally getting around to make a cd. I stories or short poems to accompany the songs along with a photograph to pertain to the music. A worthwhile cd insert! Something to lay back on your bed, put on headphones and read as you listen. To hopefully take you somewhere else.
Keep listening. Thanks for the awesome vote! : D

Animals
Nature's true gift to us besides life, is further life. Animals, show us our true reflections, our primal instincts, the way our emotions are to be handled. They all protect for what they achieve, they all protect their young, they all travel in herds as a pack at one time or another. Bird's feather's floating ever so slowly to the ground leaving their tracks of prosperity. Leaves rustling, as animals communicate in deeply covered jungles. As if it was a world that was disconnected by the rest of this soon to be mechanical world..
Amazing song.
It steals our breathe in the most positive way, as it is reaching for our souls to caress it in eternity's time.
I love your reviews.

kewl
I like it - although I wasnt a big fan of the rapid notes.. I think more delay would have gotten you a better snow effect, the reverb is good though. And the layerign later on in the song gives a nice atmosphere - that breathy effect in the b/g tho I find a bit awkward..
the drums have potential, but I think more variety in the percussion is needed as well.
It gets cooler with that distortion in the drums, and the mizing up and toying with the stereo field - really adds a lot of depth that way - I'm a huge fan of people using the stereo field to their advantage, it's a powerful tool one can use.
It's also pretty impressive for one of your first songs :)
its definitely a song that gets better as it builds up more and progresses further into the song.

I'm glad you like. The rapid notes? I'm not sure which your talking about. More delay perhaps. I feel it might muddy up the notes? The breathy effect as in the vocals? Yeah, i wasnt quite sure what i was doing with it. I wanted it all to be nice and ominous, heh.
the drums were simple because of the glitches that came in shortly after, i didnt want them to be too complex to rule out over what came next. Plus i felt there was enough in the background to also listen to when the other sounds came in. Heh, you do so much glitchy stuff, its nice to do something simple for a bit! hah.
I know what you mean, i love putting things through stereo, panning, having sounds shoot around. Makes for a much bigger listening experience. I try to stay aware of that when i make music.
This isnt one of my first songs either. Heh-heh. this is a bit more recent actually.
Its just the first i've used my own guitar / vocal bits in.
I'm glad you like the progression, too. I wanted the climax at the end and such then the quick end, like closing a book.
Thank you for your reviews!
