Nothing too sophisticated or remarkable... was just bored and messing around with drum lines.

Rate how you will. Hope you get SOME kind of kick outta this... =]

"sounds good"

the guitar goes great with the rest of the instrumentation. i would say to add heavier drums, but that isnt needed here. again, better than the crap slight alteration covers i see lately

"nice one"

date: April 10, 2008

this was a fun listen, I love how you sequenced this. Melody sounds great and is well recognizable. I like how you implimented guitars to back it up, the chords sound great, and the drums are a real nice addition to. Good job with spacing both cymbals, some toms would be great too. One thing I think would be cool is if you harmonized in thirds the guitar and piano, that would be sweeeet!

Also, it wouldnt hurt to put a bit more 'verb on the piano. Make it sound more authentic. And a bassline would be great too.

I was gonna give this an 8 originally, but I figured since you gave it your own spin instead of a straight up unoriginal, unaltered remix like most everyone else does on NG, you get a better score! kudos dude :)

Loving the drums on the FF medley.

Author's Response:

Appreciate the feedback.

This song wasn't anything too serious, I'm just a sucker for making drumlines, and the FF prelude is a very kind "skeleton," so to speak, for that task (hence why there's so many different variations in the drums in the whole minute-eighteen).
