This is a song that took me 4 days to make. My first ever "deadline" song. I made this for a game that some students at the swedish academy of Chalmers made. The song is for a boss fight and I tryed to make something that sounds like an adventure and has alot of action in it.
The song has alot of flaws since I only had 4 days to make it. But I think turned out rather ok.
I use VST instruments for the drums and the symphonic sounds. But the guitars n bass are "real".
I play them myself.

"Shame this is one of your higher rated songs"

date: February 19, 2009

First let me say this is a really great song. I just wish some of your other work was higher rated. The only real flaw I could find for this song is it felt a little dragged out, like you couldn't figure out a proper ending. That was the main fault. I think maybe you should try to remaster it this time and maybe change your riffs a little from the regular old dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dah. switch it up a little bit. Its obvious you are a good guitar player, you just need to take that next step.

Author's Response:

I had 4 days for this song. A battle song is usually atleast 3 minutes long. The reason why it is so long drawn is because it makes the song loop better. And with symfonic pieces and all it took me 4 days. And the dun dun dun you are talking about is triplets which I find gives one the feeling of action. Since it is so la la la.
And when you remaster something , it is when you change the sound. Not a part of the song.

"Definitely a boss theme"

date: February 5, 2009

It works simply because of its simplicity. Not over the top or dominating, but easy to listen to while concentrating on what attack or spell to use. Your brother should be thankful. ;D
