Yeah, I'm back! =P

This is a remix of a remix, so to speak. MistOut (mystout@hotmail.com) created this tune as an MIDI, and I found it so moving that I decided to recompose it as an mp3, and also enhance a few of the song's qualities. (With Mist's permission, of course.)

This is the song that plays in Area 5 - Cave Road, of the NES shooter Dragon Spirit.

Hope you guys like the tune. ^^ I feel I really nailed this one!

Brings me back...

Makes me miss my PS2 FFX-2 days....its got a similar feel to it as 90% of that games music does. I do miss my NES, but they dont last forever like we want them to do so....

I loved how calming it truly is, and just gives you that sense of relaxation.
I suggest revising this piece again with a deeper tone, add some bass, slow the tempo down just a little to give it a much darker feel. Would totally kick ass more then it already does.

Very cool

When I hear this, I imagine a serious type of thing. Well this is going into my MUGEN folder, I could maybe see this in a fight scene in my MUGEN. Well check out my animations and music too.

Charem responds:

Ooh, a fight scene eh? It seems a little too calm for that but then again, it is unsettling/tense too. I'd love to see a video if you plan on recording a fight with this music. =)

ehh...

it's ok, but a bit too slow for my tastes... 8/10 5/5

Charem responds:

That's cool, I'm glad you still appreciated its quality though (as I can tell from your scoring). Thanks for the review. =)
