its the year of the new moon celebration in a small chinese town everyone has gathered while the music plays as they eat, drink, and be merry. Life is truely grand as they enjoy and eat under the full moon.

this is an older song i had sitting in my saved files that i worked on long ago.. I thought i'd work on it more and post it haha. I wanted to go with another oriental sounding loop. I know its not very long i'll end up working on it more when i get some time. The tracks missing alot right now its a rough cut to see how people like it. Hope you enjoy!

"Love It"

I love this. Its great, a little short and it doesn't really loop properly. but I love the chinesness. And if its a work in progress then..I hope to see it again soon!

"Subtely Pretty"

You reviewed me so I'm returning the favour. XD

This song has a nice flow to it, however I think it deserves more of a flow. I feel that the bassline is driving the song almost like "come on, don't lag behind". I feel the song would be better if it gave the illusion of lagging behind. The background pad gives the song a bouquet that I adore! Careful with the woodwind however, it's going slightly sharp.

But this is a brilliant piece and I give you an 8/10 and a 4/5! AWESOME! XD!

Very, very cool song! just a tad short. But I cant count that as a flaw considering its a loop.

=The Good=
-Great Asian atmosphere through the superb choice of instruments, love the plucking sounds, and high release rates on those floaty bells. Flute works wonders too.
-Very nice asian melodies
-Soft and relaxing
-Loops flawlessly
-Warm reverb adds to the tones

=The bad=
-Could use some bass
-Rhythmical structure could be a bit more complex, try breaking the 4/4 rhythm a bit with different length notes, repeat some, not a huge problem tho
-Some percussion wouldnt hurt
-If you did some pitch bends on the flute (may not be possible with the VST you use, but it is applicable with soundfonts) that would be great and reflect an asian theme.

Overall excellent track WF1!

Ideas: 8.5/10 Diversity: 7/10 (its short) Clarity: 8/10 Overall: 9/10

"Nice"

You reviewd me so I thought I would do the right thing and stop by here. It's a really relaxing song with a cool chill melody. The oriental thing is pretty apparent which is cool. Although I do agree with the constant repeating thing, maybe some switching it up once a while like F-777 said. =)
