So this is my first attempt at fruity loops. I don't really know much about the program or how to use it.

Note: I already know the ending is really dragged out and could be about 1:30 shorter.

Your comments are welcomed as always. Let me know what you guys think!

Underwater Lights

This is great for your first attempt at FruityLoops. I'm quite impresed. If I were you, I'd cut the intro up to 0:43, because its a little drawn out and becomes slightly irritating. Just as you addressed in your comments, you ought to cut the ending by quite a bit, that too drags on. The meat of the song is yummy tho.

GiJoe92 responds:

thanks for the input. i agree with you about both the intro and the ending. especially the ending!

Believe it or not...

I've found Fruity Loops to actually be the most intuitive of the sequencers out there, but that's just me. This is pretty meat-and-potatoes techno, and nothing wrong with that. It's simple and enjoyable. I liked the chord progression a lot for some reason. Stick with it, it's a bumpy ride. :)

Stay chill,

P.S. I really enjoy the rhythm work here. The bassline and drums play off of each other very well. You've got a talent for polyrhythms, so use it!

word. i've found my biggest challenge to date is the fact that i'm simply not educated on how to use FL to it's full potential.

i appreciate the good review.

I enjoyed this. I've never used fruity loops, but this sounds like a great for a first try at something you've never done.
