i wrote this piece originally on my 7-string classical guitar. i watched Legend, as i hadn't seen it in awhile. inspired especially by the "Lily's Dance" scene and Tangerine Dream's sublime and haunting soundtrack, i decided to set the guitar version to electronica, seeking a beautiful, deep, haunting, throbbing Tangerine Dream-esque quality... so i transcribed it, and used various FL7 softsynths and a mellower bass-drum sound, as the drums in my original version was much more reminiscent of a sharper VNV Nation-type drum sound.

so... don thy dark garb, light some candles and incense, hold thy love, and waltz away into the wee hours of the night... enjoy.

Dark Age feeling

The tune has this gothic dark age feeling. Although , it is a bit repetitive. I think what you have here is awesome but you should expand it a little more and create a bigger atmosphere for it to play around.

Bout a 7. With some more work on it...I'd give it at least a 9 otherwise if not a 10.

Repetitive but good...

this isnt one for you best songs but i do like that you are trying different styles!! i like how dark, mysterious and waltz(y). that one pad had a little to much resonance. i did enjoy listening to something different for a change!!!

i like it :)

its a bit repetative, but i dig the waltz feel.

maybe add in some snare to provide a backbeat?
