I was trying to get away from my homework, so I went back to the basics, drums and piano. Pure Improvisation. It's very similar to my song Blue, Piano.
It's in a C blues scale on 110 bpm. I hope you'll enjoy.

"Great vibe. I'm thankful I got to hear it."

3 layers again - piano melody, piano chords and a drum set.

Seems like you only have a few patterns going on with the drums, but they're put together in a pretty complex way. It sounded more like someone jamming along than a computer loop...

The piano parts all work well together and with the beats.

Towards the end, the bg chords started getting a bit repetitive and coming to the fore. There were a few points where it kinda felt like you were losing your way and it's simplistic enough that I'll probably be deleting this.

However, it has a great vibe and I'm thankful I got to hear it.

"Great song"

This song like alot of your jazz songs was quite good but I felt it wasn't your best. It just seemed to not fit together, individually, the piano the beat etc were excellent, technical and the like, but I just felt it just didn;t quite keep up to your previous standard. I did l.ike the beack down thing at about 1 minute though, if there was more diversity like dat I'd be giving it ten.

"Excellent"

date: March 30, 2008

The intro, middle and outro for this track are all brilliant, creative piano melody against the light drum beat creates something very effective. I like the slight speed up at some bits in the song, very good. Overall this track could be considered one huge piano solo.
Overall i cant think of anything bad to say about the track so keep up the good work Jurian!! ^_^

"Final Fantacy Jazz Bar"

by: Coop83
date: March 30, 2008

Thats what it reminds me off, a bar in final fantacy, slightly dark and smoky, where you go to meet this or that NPC for info and the next part of a quest.

I like the way that you wander your right hand around the keys. This gives such a nice sound and the steady left hand chords just keeps everything in check.

It's a nice tune, but I'd consider just taking everything else out and going with just the 'right hand walk' for a bit of a solo - it would focus the attention there.

"I dunno"

I think I'm starting to get a biased view towards your submissions, haha! Because I've loved every single one that I've reviewed and I've given them all 9's or 10's. Even a simple piece of work such as this was made amazing with your skill and creativity. Excellent work here again my friend. 110 bpm isn't a bad count to be at! It's a pretty nice speed in my opinion. This, being one of your simpler submissions, I still consider really great because it packs quite a punch when you have your crazy piano skills in it.

I usually reserve the second paragraph of my reviews for complaints/ things I don't like, but I didn't dislike anything, keep at it!

Anything you submit, I wanna know about! Great great work again here, Jurian.
