Honestly. It's not so much a remix as it is me taking his awesome beat and going in a different direction with it and I *JUST* finished it (it took me about 4 hours or so and I'm actually quite happy with it). All of the other songs I've been releasing I wrote years ago (so the fact I churned this out today means I still got the knack).

The original song, "I Want to Be a Big Scary Tiger' is by Spamwangler (who arranges some incredible music and is currently offering to write music specifically for your flash animations - check out his news).

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy it!

Author's Response:

Interesting review. The original beat I lifted had too much bass and I was too lazy to try and fix it.

"haha! brilliant!"

i was expecting a remix, but youve totally rewritten the song-
i think i prefer this to the original too!

the bowed string sounds are really uplifting,
the subtle filtered distorted sound sounds really cool,
and youre the only guy ive heard that can make synth acoustic guitar strings sound appealing!
i usually take about 5 - 8 hours on a song- usually around 8 to make something pretty like this

and im not just saying that because of the nice things you said about me up there!

keep it up! i mean that

Author's Response:

Well, it really depends - sometimes it might take me a month of playing around, or sometimes it will take a few hours to create a song. Thanks at the 'making synth strings sound good' bit (cause they typically reek as an instrument in general).

I don't actually play any instruments really, but I've messed with music composing software since I was in 8th grade (back when it was almost exclusively in DOS) and using synthed instruments is mostly all I know (I'd love to get real recordings for those parts, but I don't have the means to at the moment).

Rest assured, if there's anything that I'd like to borrow that I can't otherwise lift, I'll let you know (or if I need some help contracting professional-sounding music for any upcoming flashes).
