Even though all you have to do is write two more audio reviews and pass me back up, I've decided to write this audio review, which will allow me to pass you in total audio reviews. Don't get me wrong. It's not bad, but what you need to understand is that I could go to the Trance section of newgrounds, close my eyes, and not be able to tell the difference between this song and most of the low scoring trance songs. It really lacks in originality and structure. It's just so simple and.. well just boring. I do see that it was your first trance song. I would have given this submission a 5/10, but since it was your first trance I will bump it up to a 7. Sorry I can't give you any technical tips on how to make your audio better because I don't really know anything about audio itself. I just know that this is pretty short, boring, unoriginal, etc.. Also, congrats on having it used in a submission. Now pass me pack. =P

lol again, where do you get off critiqeing my work and voting it down to a 3 when you dubmit shit like this.. hey buddy get original.. i can recognize all the shitty synths you used.. make your own you unoriginal bastard.

You leads are cheezy. no real melody, hard to comprehend wtf you where trying to acomplish.. and your beats are boring.. and fades outs are random, and its just to short.

hey, ok.... we used a similar sounding synth. I see, ya totally, that sounds real close to the harmony synth i used. Pretty cool.

yeah like said earlier, the melody does wander too much and the pattern is cliched and lame-sounding, so i wont talk about tha tmuch. i think that you could do things in terms of synths/samples tho. I'm just going to throw you a bunch of stuff i can think of right now, since your new and you can use that criticism/suggestions ;) it seems like you have a grasp of how to use the program, so the second step is to experiemetn and figure out what sounds good, what you like and what you dont. [don't necessarily make things for how others would liek it... you will not be happy making music, satisfy urself!! lol]

1) the claps were just kind of weak and annoying, and sometimes the hats seemed out of place :P

2) the bass drum could be more textured - bring up the high frequencies with a parametric EQ or something, maybe overlay another sample so the bass part lasts longer and the drum sounds more interesting.

3) the synths themselves were really bland. i dont know how to tell you to get a good soundign synth, that's something you will have to experiment with. try adding on and taking off effects, changing waveforms and experimenting with LFO [low frequency oscillation] and the like. idk how FL really works, but im sure you can do al that stuff.

4) a stronger bassline would be nice--makes the song sound more full. so would some ambient effects/use of noise.
