Since spring is approaching, it's about time I get back outside and get the plow ready. This is a song that summarizes my life as a farmer. It's funny how fast life passes you by. When you find the love of your life and start a family of sorts, it seems like you haven't got much time left. But anyways, enjoy this piece I pulled together using the past and even the present.

"Fantastic"

I love the big orchestra parts in between the piano. It makes me so inspired to write. I love it.
Really nice work.

"Beautiful beyond words."

date: June 27, 2008

This is unbelievable. I can't help but think of being out in beautiful rolling hills with mountains in the background and for some reason I think of it being in Ireland - especially at the end!
Great, great work on this piece. The melodies were outstanding. I really liked the piano's role in the piece. Those simple notes added so much, especially compared to the big awesome full orchestra parts. Seriously, the end is amazing though.
Thank you for this song,

Very peaceful, basically what NickPerrin said for other commentary.

"Great Work"

date: March 31, 2008

Nintendo should use this for Harvest Moon! Haha.

But on the serious side, great work as always. Your music always creates amazing visuals. This piece makes me wish I could find a simpler lifestyle.

"Incredibly cinematic."

date: March 30, 2008

I really enjoyed this. This is by all means a VISUAL song. It presents strong images through and through, very cinematic. As such I think that this song would be best in the context of a film or other visual presentation.

There is a lot of emotion and atmosphere in this piece. The "wet"ness of the signal with so much reverb really fits you inside the music, and the song has a very BIG sound, like it's surrounding you.

At 3:40, the key change and instrumentation change feels a little off and too sudden. Everything was this big, wide stereo image and suddenly it feels like the song was switched into mono. Also, as I'm sure you're aware, at the very end, the instruments just cut off AND the tail of their reverb is cut off by the end of the song, too. Sounds wrong and adds to the "digital sampler" feel that detracts from the organic quality all us computer composers strive for.

Keep it up, great work.
