This is my remix of two Tetris songs.

For the main sounds (gameboy style) I used Magical 8bit Plugin. For the bass I used Analog Warfare, the drums were provided by Fruityloops Drumsynth Live!, and the sound effects (tetris sounds and game over) were taken from a remix done by McVaffe of OcRemix, and from the actual game itself, respectively.

Songs are in this order -
Korobeiniki (really, that's the name of the song)
Troika (from the Soviet "Tengen" version. Also appears in the Japanese version).

"memories..."

date: May 24, 2008

the intro sounded just like the game,... brings back good memories of playing this on my game boy...
and the sounds from the game made it soooo good, and 1:50 was my favourite part

August 7, 2008

Author's Response:

That part at 1:50 was jacked from McVaffe's Tetris QuasiUltimix over at OCRemix. I'm sure he doesn't mind as long as I'm saying that it's his and not viciously stating that it's mine and mine alone. After all, all music is just borrowing from and building upon the past.

Good old tetris... Yet another for the collection...

Author's Response:

It's kind of like an unspoken rule... No musician is really a TRUE musician unless they cover the Tetris theme. It's a rite of passage.
