Update: I just found a YTP using my music. Hope to see this music used on this site.
I can't believe I came up with another game song to 8-Bit already. But seriously, I'm still open to ideas. Just leave em in my News blog on my Page.

"Megadeth version doesn't represent Duke"

date: August 13, 2009

Man, I hate the Megadeth version of the game; I've played this when it came out, and I loved listening to the intro music, just for the hell of it. When I install it on my XP pro, I get Megadeth. I became so disappointed. This brings back memories. I would give it a ten, but there is a smaal break; if that was removed, then full ten; still 5/5!

"Not really good."

This more or less sounds like you ran the original DN3D grab bag through an ESS Audio Drive. All ESS sound cards have horrible MPU401/MIDI support and the end result is something like this.

I remember when I had my 486 back in the day and bought an ESS sound card just to play DN3D / Quake, and this is what started blaring out of the speakers. I sat there and thought to myself "I spent 4 hours writing autoexec.bat and config.sys environment variables just to hear this crap?" And promptly went out and bought the more expensive AWE64, which sounded godly.

"I really like this!"

date: December 10, 2008

sounds very true to the original, but with the nice nostalgia aspect with it.

Need ideas? Here are some I'd like to see:

Theme of Lupin the 3rd (1979 version)
"Never Gonna Give You Up" By Rick Astley
19/2000 (Soulchild remix) by the Gorillaz
