It's been around 7 months since I submitted one of my first songs to the AP and did my first Zelda "remix". I've come a long way since I started working with music software, and this is a remake of my original remix. I'm still an amateur, but I hope I'll one day remake this yet again to see how far I've progressed. Original midi was written by "Thorn Rich" at Ultimate Guitar (MIDI EDIT, OMG NOOB! Shut up, please.) Drums, effects, and some melodies are mine, it's not simply a -midi edit-. Changes I made from the original mix are the mastering (God, the other one was hideous), new instruments, and some new melodies. I couldn't decide between a saw synth or a bell-like synth, ended up using the latter one because it ended sounding cleaner and crisper.

So this was cool you have some good depth here and some nice style here and a very good tune you have here I really like your style and idea I think this could be longer because you have the depth to make it go even deeper the sound quality is very well done indeed and I will be on the look out for even more from you

It's good, but...
Your other one was better. This didn't seem to just... fit, like that did. I REALLY didn't like the synth that started at :07. That ruined the tune, IMO. Still, a good job.
Cool 'remix'
I like the way the drums burst in and the guitar notes seem specially excellent at 0:30.
The volumes of everything sounds cool.
One crit might be the quieter part. - something about the instruments just doesn't sound right to me. I feel like the rising countermelody should be somehow more 'tinkly' and resonate more. Just my feeling.
Also, it seems like it could loop better.
Lastly, I feel like after the drum roll at 1:15, there should be a few more harder crashes and hard beats on the skins.
All in all, it's a worthy interpretation of a classic tune, but I feel it's /just/ under the bar of 'worth-keeping'.
