Take a rest in the night after climbing the highest mountain, watch the distant oceans and continents you still have to cross

First off, I made the rhodes' note progression you hear in the beginning and end of the song quite a while ago. I saved those four bars in case I could use it for another project- and 3 weeks ago, I could continue it. Finally had the inspiration to continue those four bars- and this song is what grew onto it. It was a pretty heavy project file (15 instrument channels, 35+ fx devices), so mixing it was a hell. Made with Reason and Logic rewired. 3 weeks spent on this.

So this songs has some interesting main instruments: Deep rhodes, powerful, huge drums, weeping lead, soaring flute, ethereal choir, subtle bass and a very emotional plucky synth.

Kicks off around 0:27. Sounds best when played loudly.

Ah, there's just so much things happening in this 4 minute piece. I love the subtle pace it has.

Just epic, I'll say.

I'm sorry. :(

Thanks for the review man! I've missed you ;)

I just got into ambient the last time, so I was wandered what it is here.
First of all, the drums. They were great since they weren't overpowered, nor too soft.
Second the melody. The synth. It sounds like a mix of a techno and a church. Original, but effective.
The choir felt good, no complaints about that.

check out my stuff, bla bla, you know it.

Buoy responds:

Thanks a lot for the review man!

I'll get to reviewing you sometime hopefully soon, but my current internet connection is in no way fast enough to load a song! So you've gotta be patient, sorry :)

Very nice!

Nice and relaxing. Truly sounds like you're sitting on bench or something overlooking the fields or the ocean on a quiet peaceful day, losing yourself in it all. Once again, you have proven yourself to be among the best music composers here on Newgrounds.

Buoy responds:

Thanks for the great review!! :D

I can see a show..

Theres a girl on a dock with her legs in the water, thingking about things long past, and there sad memories. She gets up and walks along the beach. This song is awsome, i dont think i've heard a song that speaks to me as much as this one does man. You keep introducing new instruments, keeping the track fresh. It's great! I look foward to your future submissions man.
