When the winds carry the leaves onto the back of the hound
A hole will form right under a storm into the deep underground
A flash of yellow lightning without a whisper of sound
The epicenter now I must enter, twirling around and around

Pushing my blade into leathery skin
I find myself deep in a pool of debauchery and sin
Claws on my back, from every angle I'm visciously attacked
Deep in the back of my mind, an image of the one I must find
I'm the nephew of Jesus and I'm here to save all mankind

Cause I heard in a prayer last night
The only one way I'm gonna make it all right here is
Kill it from inside their hearts
Right where the tragedy starts

Holding a gun to the head of a man
I spit out my rage and my righteousness quick as I can
"Where has he gone?" Confused by my question he fails to respond
I see the demon inside, it stares at me out of his eyes
I breathe holy verses and quietly I exorcise

And shortly thereafter I find evil in children's laughter
So many people I gotta set free, so many people and just one me

I find providence in the sweet disaster
