The music in Thunderforce IV is definately from my favourite soundtracks, to anything. I liked the songs from this game since I was a kid, music on the radio irritated me (except a bit of drum n bass...). My musical taste was quite varied, nothing that the UK chart could muster up.
So I ended up listening to alot of videogame music as a kid, and loving it.

As the years went by, I still love the soundtrack to this game (and many others) but this soundtracks, especially, really went well with the action in the game, and each song has an abundance of re-listenability! (if that was ever a word...).

After learning guitar for a few years, and doing a bit of composition here and there. I mostly have had a great joy in making ambient soundtracks and things on a PC.
Then, I bought a really good effects pedal, plugged it into cubase. And then started to make more kinds of music.

This song is a tribute... well... remake of the introduction track to the game Thunderforce IV. If you are a fan of this game, I hope you like the song. Please leave a comment about your thoughts, and then I will make some more - and with your support, make them better :D

Thanks for listening!

(Notes)
The song is very repetitive, there wasn't much to reference, and I didn't want to spoil it too much. I started doing a solo, but ended up leaving it out.
The solo that is in here is very basic, and more of an experiment, so this is not the final version of the song. The solo will be taken out, and the song will eventually be re-done to have a bridge segment which will fit the solo and break it up a bit :)

And "Lightning Strikes Again". Very close to the original.
