This is probably the hardest song I've ever attempted to play on piano. I haven't finished it yet this is only the first 21 measures (like I said it's a very hard song to play), so my question is how am I doing, what can I improve on, how are the vocals? Criticism is welcome so please review.
I will be adding the drums bass and guitar parts eventually as well once I finish the piano piece, but for now I'm just interested in getting feedback.
Vocal tip
More air. That helps for two reasons: You get more power, and you can more easily tweak your tuning. (In my experience, anyway, limited as it may be) Other than that, pretty good piano work

just when i read Another Day...I said DREAM THEATERRRRRR no waaaaaaay love them...but you should sing that on the upper octave...btw nice rendition

Nice song by the way, the piano was nice and moody. The vocals were warm, a bit too quiet though, and maybe should be sung at a higher octave.
A nice deep bass line would add heaps of ambiance to this song. I don't think drums would work though.
Other than that, awesome song, well done :D

Thanks for the advise, will definately put more volume on the vocals, I don't know if really could do an octive higher on the vocals. I've never really had that much luck singing above the tenor range.
As for the drums this song is just made to go with drum, check out the origenal and you'll see what I mean (I <3 Mike Portney)

i love the piano
i love the paino, but im just not into the vocals, but im so picky with vocals so i wouldnt even think about that comment if i was you,
but the piano is pretty, there are parts that seem kinda bare, but you said you were adding drums and bass so im sure your aware of that lol
anyway its good and the piano made me give it a 5

Yeah I'm not sure about the vocals either, it whould be nice if you could pm me about how you think they could be improved, just looking for a little guidence. It is a rough draft as I said and I've already noticed 2 mistakes I made on the piano.
