I dont know what those guys are talking about dude I had to put this song on repeat track on my winamp because it was so addictive!! I think it was a great idea to 8-bit this song because, as you said no one has really done it before. Although it might just be because this is my favorite song from FF7 and is my favorite characters song (Nanaki aka RedXIII) but hell I think its awesome no matter what.
