the start of a track inspired by a short story by michael moorecock (yep, more cock)...
about an ex astronaut who starts having increasingly powerful halousinations until his entire world changes, as seen by the inner mind etc etc etc. is a good read.

anyhoo, just the first verse really, sounds like shit, didn't spend any time on mixing and production values coz i don't know if i'm gonna finish it, maybe i'll get inspired for the rest....lyrics:

you shun the new found visualisations of a world once seen from eyes in orbit,
a question forms as the walls grow stronger into biological forms,
reasuring concrete and glass at last is jutting cliffs and deepened shadows
concealing a hole through which you now crawl to your once unhumble abode,
now unrecognizable accept it's dimensions,
the switch a stone, the walls a cave, your bulb a crack through which half-light seeps
the fog has lifted, perception shifted
hold on to your eyes, hold on to your eyes...

Oh wow.

You have a really unique voice, my friend. I really love that type of electronic percussion. The lyrics are quite nice, as is your phrasing; very different. I'm downloading right now. Excellent job.

Awesome...

I love the contrast between the different elements in the song. The guitar and the percussion are especially cool together. It doesn't sound perfectly blended, but maybe that's part of the charm and either way it's obvious that all the parts of the track stand well enough on their own.

As for the vocals, I think the the lyrics are good, although I haven't read the source so I might not get it entirely. Either way, the lyrics make sense with the music, which is important. I really like your voice on the "hold on to your eyes" part..the melodic dreamy thing you have going really serves the track. I don't really like the way you sung (sort of) the rest of the song though, because it didn't really (for me) fit with the track and didn't not fit to the extreme which would've made them interesting at least.

But yeah, this is still awesome, regardless. Very unique sounding, very focused and poetic lyrically and musically. Shame it's so short, would've been nice to see what you could do with it if you went on.
