This is a darker song from my upcoming album Digital Downpour. Evan Hinkle on guitar.

Already reviewed one, said what the Hell, and decided to review as many others a possible. even though I'm not a very good reviewer... >.>"

So anyway, the beginning was nice, but when the notes started coming in it kinda.. decreased from the quality.. The percussion is awesome, and doesn't get too monotonous. The synth that comes in later is pretty cool.. but as I said before the 'other sounds' (The continual decrease of notes.. >.>") is a major turn-off to the song. Other than a few "technicalities," this song isn't half bad. Not iPod worthy, in my opinion, though..

lol! You're reviewing the oldies! I've lost most of these old song files in hard drive crashes. Couldn't change'm now even if I wanted to. Thanks for the review.

the guitar sounds too...smokey. which may be what you were goin for, but it either needed to be more crisp or more cloudy sounding. u shoulda synthed the sound of the guitar a bit, probably. i did like the snare drum though. sounded pretty nice, but probably only cause i play percussion. all together, not bad, but sounded like a semi-failed attempt at making a piece for the original half life soundtrack.

Author's Response:

Hmm, I don't see how it relates to Halflife at all.. but I'll take your word on it. The guitar sounds too smokey... did you read the title of the song? Glad you liked the precussion!
