*Edit* 2nd place. Free tee and stickers! woo!!!

Completely re-mastered for the pillars of Pico contest. For anyone that remembers, this track was originally made for the old Pico mac :3

NEW!

-Intro was completely redone.
-Bass is now 10% more coherent/less annoying.
-Got rid of those annoying screams. Why did I even put them in the track in the first place?
-Drums have been completely redone from the ground up. Same rhythm, new instruments, better sound.

Now for some important information you should take note of before you leave a review.

-This was made in garage band, so before you tell me that so and so needs work, and this or that could be better, understand that I'm working out of a very limiting program. Honestly, I doubt you could do any better using garage band :P
-I just upgraded to Reason, so it's not like the feed back will help that much in the long run anyways. New program, different problems.
-Garage band automatically degrades quality when you export, so keep in mind that some of the awesomeness of the original sound has been lost. Same situation when it gets converted to mp3 from an aif I believe. Could be wrong though on that second one.
-There's a second or two at the beginning of the track and several seconds at the end where there's no sound. Deal with it.

Blame it on garage band. I'm thinking of remixing on reason.

You might make good shit with garageband, but reason works like real life, you learn alot from that, even though reason has alot of restrections because of that aswell

Anyways, stuff sounding great, im loving those breaks and beats, not that much a fan of delay though, but this stuffs wicked

hey, thanks. You leave some of the best reviews. I'll remember to hit you up some time soon. It's late here now though, so I can't do it now, i'll be in bed in minutes.

Most the fills are entirely midi that I built, but give this track a second listen with this in mind: natural drum kit 14, and club dance beat 55.

Problem with garage band is that those samples can be really tempting sometimes. I try not to let them control the track and I feel like I've done a pretty good job at that, but in hind sight, I really don't like using samples. I've made a promise with myself not to use samples in reason. It's a lot easier when the sample library isn't right in front of you :P

Hmmm, for people asking about the bass, it's actually synched up with the synth. Same melody...hmmmm...

i guess there isnt much more for me to say, except that t his is a solid song. though the bass is still a little bit too spastic and really soft and weak. otherwise, gj :D
