Author Comments

Well I heard alot of 8bit music lately and I loved it! So I set out to make it! And wound up with a pseudo 8bit sounding happy thing, which if you know me, is my specialty. Happy that is xD So again, hope you like it. I actually worked really hard on this one, so comments, no matter how mean, I will accept with humility. I ask though that if you hate happy or 8 bit, or pseudo 8 bit, be objective. So thanks!

Seriously, this is a bad song. I don't know how anyone could like this. You can't dance to it or anything and you can't relax while listening to it because of the stupid repeating beep-like noise. It sounds like something a baby's toy would be able to play.

It's kind of sharp sounding, though I guess that's what you where kind of going for, I mean it does kind of work but the main part is very over powering and it's hard to hear much of the background sounds when you have some, not sure but you might want to work a little more on the volume of the main part of the track, it is a little loud.

It is a pretty decent legnth though and it does work pretty well to make a decent tune. I have no real problems with this other than the over powering sound, after a while it just becomes a little too much.

The background sounds will actually overpower the main sound if I hadnt turned it down. And it work. But I will take your advice for next time, Thanks xD

"Good"

I liked it, kinda like a children's lullaby, or something that should be in the background as a story is told. Like all round bass, synth, etc, all good fitted all well together, great job. There were times that the noise level I think was a bit high, but may have just been me

Maybe, I did have a few high pitched notes but not till the end ish xD

"8-Bit adventure"

by: Coop83

A nice tune to accompany an 8-Bit game, if slightly advanced for it, with the backing melody. I'd certainly rate this tune highly, as it's a nice piece, but if you are going to call it a proper 8-Bit tune, you need to make it monoaural output, rather than as complex as you ahve made it.

Still, the solo in the middle, where you left out the backing illustrates this perfectly, so you've got a good idea of how to work it.

Sounds like it could be used with an adventure game, where the hero is in his local town, before elaving to discover his fortune. There's definately something that reminds me of early Final Fantasy about this...

Author's Response:

Thats why I put it psuedo 8 bit. But Im glad you like it. It seems I made the perfect RPG music =3

I really do appreciate this review, thanks for the tips.
