This is a concept piece for an individual who is in a coma. It's an audio journey depicting what a coma patient hears and experiences while incapable of making any response. You'll enjoy the piece more if you take the time to sit back and lose yourself in the atmosphere I've tried to set up. If you're after a quick listen, this probably won't interest you.

Brilliant and Beautiful

I hear this piece while playing SHIFT 2 and thought it was quite interesting. So I decided to check it out here. Wow. The piece is somewhat eerily yet relaxing and is the perfect music to listen to when meditating, reading, typing, or just trying to take the edge off. And since it loops so well, it's perfect for listening for a while. In short, a digital masterpiece and I thank you for sharing this with the Newgrounds community.

whoahhhhhhhh...

I got so lost in this one, I didn't even realize it had started to repeat, lol. Excelent work on this

TheOrichalcon responds:

Yeah, it was kind of unintentional that it ended up looping around so well. I actually cut off about 30 seconds from the end while rendering by accident, and recently lost the project file in a format so I couldn't re-render. Luckily it turned out all right.

Thanks for the 10.

TheOrichalcon responds:

I hope it's a good thing that it nearly put you into a coma. If you said that about any of my other songs, I might've taken offence. haha!

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the 10.

Nice and ambient

This is what it sounds like when i listen to music in my sleep. You don't have to concentrate on it. It's justi n the background. Very good job with this one. I think you managed to hit what you aimed at!

Thanks for voting, Kimken! 5.00 / 5.00 (unchanged)

TheOrichalcon responds:

Thanks for the 5+10. Ambient music is good for zoning and chilling. A lot of this kind of music sits well in the backgrounds of films and games in order to set a mood, which is what I was going for. I love concept art/music and hopefully one day someone will be able to use my music to make their own concepts.

Thanks again!

Awesome!

Absolutely awesome. This is art, man! That noises on the background are a genious add up to the concept... greatly done. Beautiful!

TheOrichalcon responds:

Thanks. Sound effects/noise can really add to an audio piece, whether they're long samples like the ones in this piece, or just short ones used in small section (voice clips) or even as samples (as in industrial music.)

Glad you appreciated the attention to detail in that area. :-)
