(NOTE: this song is under AMBIENT. Although many of you will realize this, there are a few who will grade the song low for not being rock or hip-hop enough for them. Please don't, it only makes you look stupid)
As the morning winds blow over the stone castle walls, warriors stir, realizing the battle is over. Ordinary men lost their lives in the battle, but they fought for those they love and wish to keep safe within the safe castle walls. Those who survived can stand tall and forever say 'I was there, when we triumph over those hard times'. But always they will remember those that weren't so fortunate in the hands of fate.
OK so that's like a little story to express to you my aim for the song and I hope that you can see the image to. Better yet is if you can see you own image with this song, If so please feel free to comment on it! It'll help me progress with more songs I make.
P.S. Please, if you are going to criticise, can you make it CONSTRUCTIVE criticism? That way I can make better music in the future, thank you =D

I see that same battlefield, towered upon by the stone castle, the defenders who survived, looking upon they're victory. Victory they did earn, but the cost was of human lives. Truly a rememberance and dedicating song.
Another beautiful ambience. I think this one is my favorite so far though.

A Perfect Fit
First, I love the feeling of this song. I completely understand what you meant in your comment, about the soldiers. The reason this song truly attracted me was because it seemed to fit perfectly with something I wrote. I want to be a writer, and this perfectly fits the end of one of my stories. Because it resonated with me on two levels, the respect for its greatness and its relationship with my labor of love, I just wanted to make sure that you know what I think. Thank you for this song. Truly.

It's always nice to look around and find that one song that fits perfectly with a moment or feeling, specially when you are writing. I think with the right sort of song and the right author a written story can become a lot more powerful than without that perfect song.

Nice ambient
But it feels a little empty. My favorite part was 1:19 where the drums came in, made it sound much more solid. Of course, I don't listen to ambient music too often and I'm not sure what people are looking for in it. Still, I downloaded, heres a 9 for the mental image :)

The empty part was kinda added in. Had a few other instruments in there to fattern it out, but it kinda belittled the whole 'those who lost their lives' part in my own mind. Think I might actually add that drums part into the Newgrounds Audio Portal as a loop... I'll get back to that one...
