This is from our (relatively) new CD, The Swing of Things. Personally I'm not happy with the mastering job, but we got a huge discount, because we've got connections. :)

So enjoy 'I Burn Bridges,' and stay tuned after the song ends for our hidden track from the CD (Swing Thing, the CD's namesake), a special treat for anyone who cares enough to listen to us! It starts around 5:50, so you don't have to listen to such a long period of silence.

Also, our trombone player quit the band, and we're still breaking in the new one, so don't expect our next CD soon. But I'll probably upload more of our 2006/2007 CD in the near future.

Edit: If you want to vote zero, I'd appreciate a review letting me know why. We get plenty of good reviews, and that's great, but we want to improve, so don't be afraid to get ugly!

sounds like the drummers on steroids with that top hat, and i love it. the only thing that takes away those two stars is that the singer was off in a lot of places and that reeeealy long pause in the middle of the song (which is half understandable considering its a band and not a music program), and the fact that when it does start again it sounds like a different song.
Other than that, you are indeed burnin em like nobody's business =]

Well thanks for the review! Jake (the drummer) might as well be on steroids, he's got mad chops. Feel free to check out some of our newer stuff, too!

great song :)

if you dont play it any more, why not get the band together and play it again for old times sake, you will see that the song will be so much more fun to play as it will trigger memories of earlyer plays of it, and the fun of playing it again. :) if you ever do i would love to hear it re-recorded to hear it in comparison to this song

HyruleanHyroe responds:

Hahaha, maybe we'll revamp it someday. We've done that with a couple of our oldies. If we do, I'll be sure to upload a recording, just for you. :)

Excellent! This doesn't sound very ska to me, but an EXCELLENT song. I'll be sure to check out your other stuff, and if it appeals to me I may purchase it. I can't hear any bass, but it doesn't bother me too much. Your singer has a great voice.

HyruleanHyroe responds:

Yeah, our earlier stuff like this wasn't overly ska-ish, though we've progressed since then. Glad you still like it though! The bass issue is due to some lack of mixing effort on the part of certain anonymous parties. I'll be sure to tell Brian you like his vox! ;D
