This is from our (relatively) new CD, The Swing of Things. Personally I'm not happy with the mastering job, but we got a huge discount, because we've got connections. :)

So enjoy 'I Burn Bridges,' and stay tuned after the song ends for our hidden track from the CD (Swing Thing, the CD's namesake), a special treat for anyone who cares enough to listen to us! It starts around 5:50, so you don't have to listen to such a long period of silence.

Also, our trombone player quit the band, and we're still breaking in the new one, so don't expect our next CD soon. But I'll probably upload more of our 2006/2007 CD in the near future.

Edit: If you want to vote zero, I'd appreciate a review letting me know why. We get plenty of good reviews, and that's great, but we want to improve, so don't be afraid to get ugly!

Great job overall however...

I have to say, all sides this song is quite good. There's only one fault... and I mean no offense by this, but the singer is EXTREMELY flat. You need to learn to hit those strange notes man... that's all you need, you're perfectly in-sync, the whole band is, and I noticed no mistakes but those from the singer. Just keep practicing, and keep that in mind, I'm sure you probably noticed it yourself, and keep in mind this is helpful criticism, not an attack on your skills. I sing professionally, trust me, I know hat I'm talking about :P, anyway, just keep working at it, I'm sure you'll get it, you have tons of potential! All of you do!

Hey, no offense taken. We're all very aware of our weaknesses, and it's almost reassuring to know someone else notices them. Thanks very much for the kind words, and see you when we're famous! Hahaha!

Thanks for the encouragement, Sam! We try to vary our songs, with some successes and some total failures. I'm really glad you liked our music alright, and hope to hear further comments from you later on when we put up some more music.

This band is amazing. Really, i checked the other songs and your myspace, I love it. By the way, is your bass player single?

He is, and forever will be. Girls hate fat guys. Especially mustachioed fat guys.

Sounds good but...

...the vocals sound very similar to your other songs. The drums and the guitar reminded me of The Strokes. Overall, it sounds good.

HyruleanHyroe responds:

Thanks for the input again, man. Those are problems we've encountered before, and we're doing our best to vary out style with some of our newer songs, which we should be recording this month at some point. At least one or two of them will be hitting NG after that point, so keep your eyes peeled!
