Simple tune i made the other day, just messing around, nothing much more to it, though i do feel it could be more 'epic' needs development and a good polish plus vocals.

You're being overly hard on this track mate, it's really lovely tho I agree that the drums don't seem to serve their purpose optimally. As it stands this is one of the better examples of adding-layer-upon-layer-composing this site has to offer and the result is very enticing, think you could've easily doubled the length of the final part.
Vocals on this, dunno, I'd let it segue into, or follow up a somewhat similar track that does have vocals.

Got a new track up as well, Crystalline (rough version). Love to hear what u think.
Take care xx

"Fantastic"

Wow this one kind of grows on you and draws you in ever so slowly. The beginning build up tends to be a bit slow but just a bit. But it really grabs your imagination as to what is coming next. Again you have obtained emotional reaction to the listner which is something that these days many artists don't accomplish. Well time to download and get inspired once again.

"Yo !"

Let's see, then.

I have to admit i jumped a bit at the beginning. I wasn't expecting this tune to begin that brutally.

Now, that's what i call an epic use of synths ! They may sound a bit old-school, but i like it that way.

Also, if you remember, i often told you about your stuff being a bit long. It's much better when it's shorter, as shows this tune. It's always better for quality, it seems. My only complaint is that the instruments are really messed up, and then, the tune seems to be a pointless accumulation of sounds. I think you should at least reduce the master volume.

Finally, i don't think it needs more "epic" improvement, but vocals are definatly something to add !

Great work, dude! 4,5/5

nicely done, really full and balanced texture here. guitar sounds ace, the drums sound a little lost tho, prolly just coz my ears are def from all my overly volumated drums.

Author's Response:

ohhhh full and balanced makes a particular change for my shnizz. Nope the drums are lost it aint your ears, thats me being crap and lazy as per us'. I would do a longer version if i had anywhere to go with it, but at the mo theres nothing forthcoming unfortunately. i'll give u a heads up when i do mind.
