So this is an inital concept for an inde feature film that was recently shot here in Charleston. This was my proposal... hopefully it works out.

What you've got here is a very Horner esq melodically progressive full orchestra run, which rolls into an almost embarassingly good excersize of Zimmers simple melodied heavy brass harmonic action thriller thematics. It rolls back into the Castaway type chords and I pulled a little oboe out that kind of reminds me of Newman's Shawshank Redemption.

The concept was to hit both ends of the spectrum, with essentially tuneless background music that can easily be rolled into something thematic, as well as both of those that can be attacked in an action sequence or thriller segment.

I dont think its that bad for 6 hours.

Where is my game pad? XD

For something done in 6 hours it's pretty good. Like kaptainkewl said the only thing I found strange is the transition into the battle sequence but I won't hold that against you in the score since the rest of the piece is awsome. I can see this piece in a video game. It reminded me of Final Fantasy Tactics XD Maybe I should go play that game now...

Oooo.

I love the orchestral use of these instruments. I need to ask you what program you use, because at some point I'm going to be buying a sequencer, and I really liked the sound of this. The only thing I can say wasn't best was the fade into the battlesque part. It was really good, and I find the brass really stood out quite nicely, especially with the strings being used as a little piece in the background to make it that littrle bit better. but the only thing that got my the most was the very small usage of the drums! It takes alot of skill to make a good track without using much drums, and you did a very good job of that. Great work!

If you got time just give a shout out to one of my songs, I could use some feedback from another orchestral music maker such as yourself.

Dude,

This kicks soo much ass all over the place.
Every element was brought together, perfectly...even though, I thought as I heard particular instruments start..."damnit, he's gonna ruin it"...but it just kept gettin better and better.

So, not much to say except, awesome...and I vote teh 5 once again.
