Basically i got an urge to record, and i love this song and the emotions it invokes. i didn't know weather or not to submit it because i didnt write it, it's a cover (i added a key change though)
anyhow, i searched 'cover' in the NG audio portal and there seems to be a lot out there, so i'll hope you will all be forgiving, and hope even more you like the song.
It took me around 4 hours to start and finish recording, theres a piano track, cello track, drums track, and vocal! ENJOY!!

Good job!
I like it! good cover, I am not sure if I agree with the key changes since they are a bit odd IMHO but you have the right to artistic license.
Probably the best cover next to Gary Jules' rendition.

Pretty good, but not great
I must concur with kinesta. It was lacking in the bass department. I also prefer the Micheal Andrews rendition which they played for Gears of War. Tears for Fears ain't exactly my fave, but this is a good song. I'm having a hard time understanding the meaning of it though, if one exists. If anyone could help me in the right direction I'd be very happy. Again, a good song bursting with emotion.

I love mad world
giving a nine because I feel it could use more bass, I play bass, I love bass, I think the vocals are fine, but he is true he doesnt have as much emotion but Its alright more bass tho keep up the good work

very good
the vocals need some work, but other than that it was very good. I like the instrumentals a lot too. Giving a 9 because of the vocals, but still very good. I guess the biggest difference between this and the Gary Jules version is the voice. Not as much emotion and it really is all over the place as someone said before. drums could use a little more experimentation, there's probably another sound that goes a little better with this song, but they sound fine as they are. Overall, I liked it a lot, pretty even with the Gary Jules version.
