I made this song as a school project in january 2007. One drum-loop is recorded with live drums, and cut in ReCycle. The rest is made in Reason re-wired to Cubase SX3, where everything is mixed.
Some of the other beat samples are made by me from scratch (including the bassdrum, which isn't the best, really....). All synths are made in Reason's Malström, from scratch of course.
The vocals are sung by Kerstin Ekling, and does she have an amazing voice or what!!
This is mixed completley in mono. I was under time-pressure when making the song (because I always tend to do things the last minute...) so I decided to make a complete mono-mix out of it. I can honestly say that listening to the song now (I had completley forgotten it's existance), it's a pretty crappy mix, and is long way from being mastered good...
I still have the project somewhere, and it would be fun to re-mix the whole song now, replace quite a few things and make it sound good for real....
This is not likley to happen, sinceI I hardly have time to dry my own arse after taking a shit nowadays, but who knows.... At least the vocals could be usable again... :D
