I wrote this one as spur of the moment as you can get. I came home from school one day in April 07 and just started playing something random and this was just suddenly born. And the lyrics came as quickly as the music I was playing, it was because of the music.
Like I usually say in all my commentaries, this is still only rough and is definitely going to change in the future, this is just the general theme and sound of the song.
lyrics---------
I lost you in the crowd
The sound around us was so loud
That when I found you I started to shout
And you kept on singin' your heart out
It was the music they played
The music they played
All the music
All night and day
It was the music they played
The music they played
All the music
I've never seen you move that way
When I first saw you standing there
You had flowers in your hair
Who was I to speak to one so fair?
But the music gave me passion so I didn't care
It was the music they played
The music they played
All the music
All night and day
It was the music they played
The music they played
All the music
That led me to you that day
Some say the music doesn't matter anymore
That there's too much pain and sorrow in the world
But then how do the children continue to play?
How do we know we'll live to see another day?
It's the music we play
The music we play
All the music
All night and day
It's the music we play
The music we play
All the music
That's gonna keep the sadness away.
It's gonna keep, it's gonna keep the sadness away.
All the music, all the music.

You had me till you added the keyboard (at least that is what I think you are using, it starts at 0:09). Also the quality of whatever you used to record the vocals doesn't sound too good.

Thanks, but I wouldn't quite say it's perfect. But I'll try to prefect it in the future to the best of my abilities. :)

My dad used to play classic rock a lot around me so when I had the idea to do a song like this, it wasn't very difficult for me to know what to do. lol

It sounds like a song I know I just can`t put a name to it...

Amazing, once again. Not only the singing, the whole song itself. The melodies are amazing man!

Keep it up!

Author's Response:

Thanks for your consistent support. It means a lot to me. If there was nobody to enjoy my music, there wouldn't be much of a purpose for making it. So in other words, you keep me writing and singing my friend, you do. :D
