Yer, sounds Middle-Eastern doesn't it? The original song is called 'Dance of the Priestesses' by C. Saint Saens. With 'priestesses' he was refering to the old babylonian/mesopetamian servants of their matriarchical god(s). So you're almost right (by aprox. 1500 miles)
