My go on the blues.

***March 31, 2008***
I've added a harmonica and a piano, my friend did the harmonica for me and I - obviously - did the piano.

Don't hear harmonica and piano? I didn't either at first, i use firefox. You have to clear the cache.

***4/2/08***
I'm either going to make the guitar more prominant or i'm going to lower the piano octave because the piano is drowning out the guitar.

***4/10/08***
I forgot to mention that i have fixed the guitar piece being drowned out.

"Excellent"

You really captured the genre here. The whole pace of it was wonderful. The piano was nice, kinda even jazzy. The guitar was pretty good too. Very strong and powerful playing. But the harmonica made the track, wonderful. I would've given it 10 out of 10 if there was vocals, but it was perfect as it was musically

"Fun vibe. Like Plok!"

by: Bezman
date: April 13, 2008

I love the vibe.

Sounds totally upbeat and reminds me of Plok! (John Pickford's game for the Snes). Maybe because of the tempo, vibe and harmonica.

There's an excellent rhythm in all the instruments and the volumes are set really well.

The harmonica really carries the melody, but the piano kinda fleshes it out, bringing it to life.

If you have any loops with this quality of playing, I'd love to use it in a future game or something.

this will probably stay in my playlist for a long while.

"Awsome Beat"

date: April 13, 2008

I like the beat you have to this, it's very fast paced and sounds very good and upbeat, that's the first thing I like about this and it's not repetative, pretty loud and stands out to. So that's all good with the beat, one of my major worries with this is that it seems to sound a bit muffled, not sure if that's how it's suppost to be but it sounds a little weird.

Other than that, it all seems to come together pretty well and sounds very good, so that's very nice to hear, good job with this all round. A nice ending and a good opening, although not all that long, but seems long enough for this peice.

"It's 106 miles to Chicago..."

I think this tune could have used some vocals, as most blues tunes need it to give the song meaning. Not that the tune isn't any good without said vocals.

Very good use of the harmonica - yes, it did put me in the mind of the Blues Brothers, as it's an awesome film an needs people who like it to be inspired by their music.

A nice talent you've got for this type of music - keep it up!

Very nice blues song with the "standard blues riff" that has already been used in so many songs but that never gets old.
The distrortion of the guitar could be turned down a bit, though. I think it would sound even better then.

The harmonica is played very well and adds a lot to the blues feeling of that song. Also the piano sounds very nice. I don't think its drowning out the guitar.. I think it's the other way round, heh... but maybe that's just the guitar player in me. I'm (nearly) always able to hear the guitars, but other instruments are quite hard for me to make out. XD

Anyways, the song is very good. If you would make it a bit longer and add vocals to it, it would be perfect.
