Yeah, those were the good old days of the original Metroid. In all honesty, it doesn't just sound like a mix from Metroid, but it also kind of sounds like it has that Super Smash Bros. sound to it. That's just me, but I can actually picture this song in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

but i always did love that tune especially in the NES one :3 no i'm not that old to have had that one but i have played it :3
