Many composers makes these ultra songs and remixes with rave and techno tunes beating the s**t out of you everytime (and it's not a bad thing since I like that kind of music :) ), but sometimes you hear it so often it gets boring. Even so there are plenty of remixed content that is just incredible, for example:
"Megaman vs Ghouls and Goblins" here on newground was a great remake of two games combined and the music was just awesome!

I mean, many composer can make a remix, but really creating that special sound, the sound that literally "makes" the song, is not easy. I've heard plenty of stuff like "here's an old classic mandatory enouh to remix but not for the sake of your ears, only to remix it and nothing else" that's kinda bad. I did a similar thing with the legend of zelda (which I'm definitely not putting up here) which turned out crap :P.

Aaaanyway, so I decided to make something different. I the castlevania music, especially in Simon's Quest, so I wanted to make my own version but in a classic way (strings and stuff, what else :P).

Don't think of me as a "remix genre racist", I love that kind of music aswell, it's just hard explaining it without a thousand words.

Anyway, enjoy if you can :p

Nostalgic and to the heart of the matter

This song, to me, was always synonymous with "Game Genie." I never knew what combination of crystals and body parts I needed to cause a mansion to appear. You have very nicely summed up my frustration. You orchestrated my death march into what I didn't realize was water. I....I love you.
