I pictured a dark hall and someone walking through it, looking at the pictures on the wall and remembering all those times past in their life. Lost in nostalgia; hence the name.

Anyone picture something else? I've always loved the visual aspect of music, so I always go for a visual aspect when creating.

Here's my contribution

I picture the loss of a dear friend, family member, or lover. The pain and regret wracks the body of the character, who watched on as the other died, either slow and peacefully or in agony as a result of wounds.

Going with the "peaceful" scenario, the picture would be very similar to a family gathered around the deathbed of a beloved grandparent. The "battle" scenario would be during the aftermath of a battle, where the enemy was destroyed but at the cost of thousands of allied lives. Bodies litter the field and the character frantically searches for their friend, not sure if they will find them alive or dead. Eventually, they give up and fall to their knees in tears, dropping their sword, ripping their helmet off and casting it aside. Looking up at the sky, the clouds part and sunshine pours down. A tear falls into the cruel mix of blood, water, and mud, which is then illuminated by the sun. Hope, surrounded by death. A new beginning.

Hell, I'm sure I'll use that in a story someday. Thank you. It is a truly majestic piece, and it was a joy to listen to.

Kinda' nice ...

The first pass caught my ear, the second pass I liked it. I'm glad you kept it shorter - it's not repetitive this way.

Good tune. Nice job.

This is really good, a touch sad sounding, but hey I like it.

Now for the visual aspect. I don't see someone walking down a hall personally, unless that hallway is their mind. I see a person sitting alone by themselves and thinking of everything that's happened to them and that they've done in their life.

Hope that wasn't too deep.
