-OLD SONG-
Since there is an 8 mb limit, I can upload the full now. But there's another reason why I upload this. Read my news post for details. Btw this includes the intro, some timing error fixes, a better bass after the slow middle part and other minor corrections.
Please, I'd like a normal person to review this. It doesn't matter if you don't like it but then tell me in a normal human manner, not just "this sux you lame shitload of crap". Please give me good and intelligent reasons why you like or don't like this. And also if you're a music artist yourself, tell me what to improve on.

"The Bass"

date: June 1, 2009

@below post
I really think that it's a problem on your end. I've got a nice deep base system and the base comes through just fine for me. If you'd like to hear good quality base, you're gonna need a nice speaker set :P

Also, great mix btw.

"Not enough bass"

date: May 27, 2009

Not a bad song, but the drums are way too stereo separated, and there is practically no bass in the song. Take away the stereo separation, and EQ it so that there is bass. Other than that, epic song man.

Author's Response:

There's enough bass in the second part after the slow break to make my keyboard resonate when played on a 2.1 speaker system... What did you listen to it with?
About the drums... well, I guess I was trying to make both the drums and the rest of the song audible without drowning each other out. Maybe I overdid that a bit.
Thx for the review.

"MP REVIEW"

date: May 26, 2009

Very nice job.

I always like dramatic songs, orchestral, etc.

Some things to improve next time.

The piano in the begining is too loud.
When it jumps to the drums and bass, not enough transmision.
Too distorted.

Improve these things and it could be a top 5.

8/10

Author's Response:

Quoting from an earlier response of mine: "...it was meant to EXPLODE IN YOUR FACE. Mwhahaha. Too bad some people don't like that effect. Anyway, it was an experiment. At the time I hadn't been too familiar with making classical music and blending it with other genres. So thats what came out of it. Nowadays I pay more attention to smoother blending."
Too distorted... well I guess I didn't want it to sound like an orchestral piece with just some DnB drums thrown in. Or whatever. This song is too old for me to remember all my exact methods and aims during its making :P
Thanks for the review.
