Edit: i got 2nd in the Mac 07 december with this :D

This is my entry to the Mac 07 december! 8-bit xmas. i figured i would do the old classic song, since i am norwegian we dont have all the same songs, but this is also in norwegian, and therefore i knew it ;D'

I know its a unoriginal choice, but if i ever wanted to hear a song in xmas'ish 8bit it would have to be this one! as the description says, i added alittle middle part-solo of my own to spice it up a bit! hope you like it :)

i decided to take a break from it all, as i said, atleast for another week! since xmas is comming up and i might be mooving soon and stuff. but i stumbled upon the MAC of december and i figured, hey, if i dont enter this ill surely regret it. i mean. 8bit. and xmas. 2 so awesome things welded together. i had to.
took me about um.. 5 hours to make, i would guess. used fruityloops 5 with casio soundfont and the magical 8 bit plug. thats all ;D enjoy!

My misspent winterbreaks all in one song!

It reminds me of my misspent days of my youth playing games on my friends' Gameboys and N.E.S. consoles (as well as shareware titles on Macintosh System 7). It would certainly make an awesome soundtrack for a winter themed game (say a Moonpatrol clone with a sledder or cross-country skiier).

Waterflame responds:

ROCK THOSE THOSE 8-BIT BELLS!

This is one of the most kickass reditions of that dull boring christmas song. Bonus points for breathing life into a once dead song.

Waterflame responds:

haha, thank you! :D

im not going to download this...

im not like, religiously hating, but i hate christmas music. it does not deserve to be graced by 8bit goodness.....

Waterflame responds:

Haha, no offence taken what so ever. im not bound by any religion ;) i personally love xmas-feeling music. but not the songs themselves that much..i dont know how i can explain this. take for instance, The music from the snow maps in Diddykong racing XD thats xmas-ish without having too much to do with xmas. the classic songs however, issnt on my fav list either to put it like that :P

but in my opinion, everything deservest the CHIP RAY! lol my chiptune folder is like 4000 songs big. i love em, no matter <3 yes even that anoying sweedish melody grand prix song!
